Deutsche Version: (English version below) Hallo ihr Lieben, habt ihr auch die Victoria’s Secret Show gesehen? Dieses Jahr hat VS das erste Mal mit einem bekannten Designer an den Looks für die Show gearbeitet, nämlich mit Olivier Rousteing von Balmain. Zu dem Thema Punk Angels haben der Dessous-Hersteller und der berühmte Designer gemeinsam verschiedene Outfits kreiert.
Nach der Show kamen sogar einige der Teile in die Victoria’s Secret Shops. Im Flagstore launchten VS & Balmain die neue Kollektion. Ihr könnt euch natürlich denken, dass ich das gerne miterleben wollte. Glücklicherweise bin ich in New York und konnte beim Launch der Victoria’s Secret X Balmain Kollektion in New York City dabei sein und war total begeistert von den Runway-Looks und den Teilen, die im Shop erhältlich sind. Natürlich konnte ich nicht widerstehen und musste auch etwas aus der Kollektion kaufen. Diese beiden tollen Taschen (siehe Fotos) zählen zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Dazu gab es dann noch die beiden VS-Glitzerbeutel dazu.
Beim Launch habe ich übrigens einen der Designer kennengelernt und hatte ein supernettes Gespräch mit ihm.
Wer die VS X Balmain Kollektionsteile bestaunen und „in echt“ sehen möchte, kann das in einer Ausstellung tun: Im Flagship-Store auf der Fifth Avenue eröffnete Victoria’s Secret vor anderthalb Jahren ein eigenes Museum, in dem ihr aktuell die Victoria’s Secret X Balmain Kollektion bewundern könnt. Geöffnet ist die Ausstellung während der normalen Öffnungszeiten des Stores.

English Version: Hello lovelies, did you watch the Victoria’s Secret show on TV? This Year VS teamed up with a famous designer for the first time. The underwear brand created several looks with Olivier Rousteing (the head designer of Balmain) for the show. The topic punk angel was pretty cool and combined the sexiness and the power of strong woman which is one of the focus points of both companies.
In New York I went to the launch event of the VS X Balmain collection to see the runway looks. These two bags (photo) were my absolute favorite items from the collection.
Victoria’s Secret opened a museum in May 2015, currently showing off the Victoria’s Secret X Balmain collection. The Victoria’s Secret Museum is located in the flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Guests can visit the VS Museum during the store’s normal business hours.
